  • The experience lasts approximately 6 hours and the snorkeling group is limited to 6 participants.
  • Silfra participants must be at least 12 years old, able to swim, comfortable in the water, and accompanied by an adult if under 18.
  • Participants must be 150–200 cm (4’9″–6’7″) tall and weigh 50–120 kg (110–264 lbs).
  • A medical waiver must be completed before snorkeling, and participants must be able to communicate in English.
  • Bring warm clothing, comfortable shoes, socks, and any required swimwear or personal items. Glasses cannot be worn while snorkeling; contact lenses or a prescription diving mask are recommended.
  • The snorkeling activity may be canceled due to weather or unsafe conditions, with an alternative date or refund offered.

Park at Thingvellir P5, then walk approximately 400 meters back along the road to the smaller parking area where the snorkeling and diving vans are located. Look for your Adventure Vikings guide and arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled start time. FlyOver Iceland is located at Fiskislóð 43, 101 Reykjavík.
